Important Medicine Recall!

The Health Office (Nurse’s Office) is open 7:25AM to Nurse- Mrs. Sullivan2:35PM, Monday through Friday, the days that school is in session.  During summer month, hours are limited, so contact the Main Office to leave a message for the nurse and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Please provide the nurse with any new information regarding your child’s health and contact information throughout the year.

INJURED AND/OR CHRONICALLY ILL STUDENTS

Students who are injured, and/or that have a chronic illness, and cannot participate or have special restrictions in PE, must obtain a doctor’s note indicating the nature of the injury or illness and the length of time that the student needs to be excused or specific restrictions.  If your child is on crutches, the doctor’s note should include permission for your child to be on crutches and use of elevator, if necessary, while in school.  The elevator permission can be obtained from the nurse and requires a $10 deposit for the key.

The following message was received at NASN

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, (Johnson & Johnson), is voluntarily recalling lots of OTC products. Consumers reported an unusual moldy, musty, or mildew-like odor that, in a small number of cases, was associated with temporary and non-serious gastrointestinal events: nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, or diarrhea. This precautionary action is voluntary and has been taken in consultation with the FDA. Prodcuts included in the recall: Motrin, Junior Strength Motrin, Benedryl, Tylenol, Children's Tylenol, St. Joseph's Aspirin, Tylenol PM and Rolaids
