Student Registration

New student Kindergarten registration for the 2021-22 school year is now open - Click Here to begin the registration process for your incoming Kindergarten student. Please note that Kindergarten for 2021-22 is open to children born on or before January 1, 2017.

New student registration for the current 2020-21 school year begins with online completion of this Google Form.  After you complete this initial form, you will be contacted for additional information, including regarding residency requirements. Please complete this form once for each child you would like enrolled in TPS for 2020-21.

NOTE: The forms archived below are not currently being used while schools are closed for the COVID-19 pandemic. Please complete the appropriate Google Form described above and you will receive additional information.


Records Forms

  • Personal Identification of parent/guardian (e.g., driver’s license, passport)
  • Birth Certificate of child (official copy)
  • Homeowners
    • Appendix A-Residency Verification Form with only Page 1 fully completed

    • Copy of Property Field Card (available at Town Tax Assessor's Office, Town Hall- no fee) and a current utility bill (water, electric, gas, or sewer) OR a copy of current property tax bill and a current utility bill (water, electric, gas, or sewer)

  • Non-Homeowners (renters, families living with relatives, or any non-permanent situations)

    • Appendix A-Residency Verification Form with Pages 1, 2, and 3 fully completed and notarized

    • Current lease/rental agreement signed by the landlord with landlord's contact number

    • Two current utility bills (electric, gas, water or cable)

    • Connecticut driver's license or a passport

    • Page 4 Affidavit of Property Owner/Landlord Application completed and signed by landlord

  • Guardianship (Homeowner or Non-Homeowner)
    • Complete steps above for either Homeowner or Non-Homeowner status

    • Appendix B -Form #1- Parent's Affidavit Child Not Living with Either Parent, signed and notarized

    • Appendix B -Form #2 -Guardian's Affidavit Child Not Living with Either Parent, signed and notarized

    • Copy of the court order or appointing authority document

  • Medical/Health

Food Allergy Policy

bowl of nutsThe Trumbull Board of Education has passed a new policy regarding the Management of Food Allergies in the schools. This policy affects food being brought in for curriculum and celebrations. This and all policies can be found on the Policies page of this website.

Emergency Notification

In the event of an emergency, school delay, closure or early dismissal, notification is made to the following:

Ø  Radio Stations:WEBE 108 FM (107.9), 600 AM, 99.9 FM

Ø  TV Stations : WTNH – Channel 8, WNBC – Channel 6 and 30, WFSB –  Channel 3

    In addition, the information will be posted on the TPS home page and on Twitter.

Medical Symbol for health moduleEach pupil, before initial enrollment in the Trumbull Public Schools shall have had a health assessment. In addition, each pupil enrolled in Trumbull Public Schools shall have a health assessment at least once in each three year interval: in grade three, in grade six, and in grade nine.
